The Department of Veterans Affairs is the government agency responsible for determining an individual's eligibility for VA education benefits.

VA has 58 Regional Offices (ROs) - at least one in each state. Four of these offices are designated as Regional Processing Offices (RPOs).

The RPOs are responsible for processing education claims.
