If VA students do not have the necessary documentation to support mitigating circumstances, do not delay submitting the notification of withdrawal or receipt of nonpunitive grades to VA.

You must report the nonpunitive grades that are assigned to VA students within 30 days from the date the grades are assigned.

However, if grades are not assigned within 30 days after the end of the period, the allowable reporting period may not exceed 60 days from the end of the enrollment period.
