MGIB-SR-Chapter 1606 Requirements:
  • Sign a six-year contract with the Selected Reserve branch after June 30, 1985.
  • Complete Initial Active Duty for Training (IADT).
  • Graduate with a diploma, GED, or 12 hours of college credit before applying for benefits.
  • Be in good standing in an actively drilling Reserve/Guard unit.
